Easy chicken Caesar salad recipe without anchovies and raw egg

This recipe for Caesar salad with chicken will surprise your taste buds. Honey mustard sauce instead of regular Caesar dressing and a drizzle of lime is a new way to make Caesar salad.

  • 400 g chicken
  • 200 g iceberg or Romaine lettuce
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tomatoes (or 8 cherry tomatoes)
  • 1 lime
  • 6 tbsp honey mustard sauce
  • 4 tbsp parmesan
  • 1 cup croutons


  • Season the chicken breast and grill it in a pan with slices of bacon.
  • Meanwhile, male the honey mustard sauce. Mix honey, mustard, sour cream, mayo, some vinegar, salt and pepper. Add grated parmesan to the sauce.
  • The chicken and bacon are probably ready by the time you have finished the sauce. Remove them and put one or two slices of bread in the pan.
  • While the bread is baking you can cut chicken and bacon.
  • Wash and cut vegetables, cut the bread into small croutons and assemble the salad.
