Blackberry oatmeal recipe - Not an ordinary oatmeal

No mater how much you like to eat oatmeal, you may get bored with the same flavors again and again. Try this blackberry oatmeal recipe and surprise your taste buds!

  • 1 cup milk (any type of milk)
  • 2 handfuls of organic rolled oats (or instant oats)
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 5 to 7 almonds (or other nuts)
  • a pinch of cinnamon (optional)


  • In a saucepan, add a cup of milk and two handfuls of organic quick oats. Cook at medium heat for a few minutes then add blackberries when the milk gets warm. Stir well for 5 minutes or so. 
  • The oatmeal should be thick and homogeneous. If you can still see the shape of the oats, add more liquid and continue cooking for a few minutes. 
  • Add whole or chopped almonds or any other type of nuts.
